“We were in need of a new front entrance door. The precious “double” door (builder grade) was not creating a secure air energy efficient seal and was problematic. We contacted Back 40 Designs to review our home repair issue. We were unsure if the double door could be repaired or if we should invest and improve our front entrance door. The double door, was a traffic entrance issue as well. With onsite evaluation of existing doors, frame, hardware etc we took the decision to remedy the issue and select a new energy efficient statement door. Following careful measuring, we ordered and in a few days it was delivered and ready to install!!! It is an oversized single door with 3/4 beveled lead glass, side lights too featured gorgeous beveled lead glass- stunning! It floods our foyer with beautiful natural light as we face south- curb appeal “envy” of Neighbourhood. Careful and considerate installation with all the necessary hardware, insulation and even a new door bell - such respect, TLC and attention to details made it an immense pleasure to work with Back 40 Designs. I plan to have Back 40 Designs return this month to install hardwood flooring in our kitchen and great room- can’t wait to see the continued transformation and improvement to our home !!”
