“Once we decided we were going to remodel our kitchen we sent out our design sketch to three separate cabinet builders. Tuscan Hills Cabinetry through Costco was the most responsive and personable. One of their designers, Donna, collaborated with us. She emailed us 3D design sketches and worked with us to determine the best cabinet sizes for our design. Donna even tweaked the design one more time after we had agreed on a final plan. She is awesome! Once the plan was approved and paid for the cabinets were built and shipped assembled within five weeks. The cabinets are beautiful solid wood with great finishes and soft close doors and drawers. We have ivory colored cabinets along two walls and dark espresso cabinets for the island. They fit together with no gaps or flaws. We had two doors with a paint flaw which Tuscan Hills promptly replaced without any hassle. Once we had our cabinets we changed our room design and needed a few matching trim pieces. Donna and the team were very helpful and responsive getting the pieces we needed and matching the original paint color exactly. We are thrilled with our kitchen and the efficiency this design has given us. Our family and friends are very impressed and complement our new kitchen. We definitely would use Tuscan Hills Cabinetry again the quality and value for the finished product is outstanding.”

“I hired Bob Sachs of Stonington Designs to transform a coat closet into a powder room on the first floor of my home. I still needed to have a place for coats so I needed his advice and his opinion. Bob came up with a fabulous design! Because my new powder room needed to be bigger (by code) than the coat closet, Bob needed to 'steal' some space from my foyer which was not large to begin with. He suggested making one of the corners rounded so that the space did not look cramped. I trusted Bob as I had seen many of the projects that he had completed prior to hiring him for this job. The powder room came out better than I could ever have imagined! And... Bob was able to install curved crown molding which matched the existing molding -- so that the powder room looked like it was part of the original house! In addition, Bob suggested built-ins for my adjacent office -- this would solve the 'no coat closet crisis.' Bob's design was to build custom cabinetry across the back wall of the office which would enable me to have shelving and file cabinet drawers plus a coat closet -- problem solved! AND it looks FABULOUS! Thanks, Bob -- for being able to solve several problems with your creativity and for enabling me to have the practical along side the aesthetically pleasing in my 1950's home!”

She is really focused on how your family functions in the kitchen day to day! She changed our drawings and made my kitchen spectacular and was even able to add a mud room where my architect had something else!!! She is fantastic and we hired her company and ordered our cabinets through her! She also recommended other suppliers who we ordered our appliances from, my handles from and light fixtures from..She was on top of everything! If you are renovating a kitchen you should look no further and hire her!”
