“I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“I just had an Eclipse Premier awning installed at my house. The awning is good quality and the customer service was fantastic. I bought the awning through Signature Shutters of Houston (installer), but my price quote came through Zach at Eclipse. The price was fair and the product turned out fabulously. The install took less than 2 hours and it was quick process. There was a 3 man crew and they installed the brackets, set up the awning and adjusted the pitch. I ordered the wind sensor, but it did not make the trip. Eclipse sent the sensor to me directly and I installed it in 2 minutes. The awning provides tons of shade and the wind sensor retracts on windy days. The shade definitely helps out on sunny days in Texas.”
