“I have highly recommended Bohdan Dorniak architects to anyone considering a new build, renovation or an addition. Bohdan and his team are very knowledgable, professional and friendly. I first met Bohdan Dorniak in 2010, when my wife and I attended an open day at the Food Forest in Gawler, South Australia. Bohdan gave a presentation on energy efficient homes and passive solar design. Then he led a tour of the many straw bale buildings and structures on the property, providing lots of useful information and answering questions. We were impressed with Bohdan and his team and in 2011 engaged Bohdan Dorniak Architects to design an extension for us. We found Bohdan very easy to work with. He listened to our wants and needs and was able to incorporate these, along with site specific and budget restraints, council requirements and many green and eco design considerations, into a chohesive design. “Julian Rutt did a fantastic job on our house; lots of attention to detail, including many unexpected little things that bring us delight every day. The house has lots of natural light but is easy to keep cool in summer as well as warm in winter. It reflects our personality but is not a monument, perfect for entertaining or equally a quiet night in, a refuge after a busy day. It’s integrated beautifully with the garden with nicely framed views from every window. We love living here, and our neighbours in the street all love the house too”
