“Talavera refinished a cabinet for me, 'remaking' it from an old, typically-found brown buffet, to a stunning distressed, off white cabinet that hints at the old brown wood beneath. With attention to keeping the vintage look and feel of the cabinet in place, they reinforced shelves only where needed, and straightened hardware just enough to make the doors solidly functional. The result is beautiful, and the buffet is an eye catcher in my kitchen. Talavera also carried the distressed idea up to my staircase landing by building a bookcase in their woodshop. They kept the comfortable feel of my home in mind when designing a piece that would bring warmth to the landing without overpowering the staircase or looking out of place. Of course it was distressed in a beautiful old-world green. Larry and his crew asked a lot of questions, and made a lot of suggestions, before, during, and after each of my above-mentioned projects to ensure that I loved what came into my home. The Progress Pictures meant a lot to me, and I appreciate that Larry worked with me to stay within my budget and pulled no 'surprise' upcharges. Though I am a person that always wants it 'yesterday', Talavera stayed right on the estimated time-to-complete, and even delivered a little early. Worked for me, and they will be hired again. (Last year they did a beautiful covered patio for my patio home, but that's another post for their remodeling abilities!).”

““We were in need of an overhaul to our 1986 kitchen (low ceiling, dated cabinetry, dated breakfast nook and poor use of space) - after shaking Gary's hand and his initial thorough walk-through, we knew that we had our design & remodeling team. We chose the Fallone's as both Robin and Gary have great ideas, are very personable and punctual. This was our first remodel and the Fallone's walked us through the process, helped guide us in the right direction, presented us with a detailed schedule of the process and even met us at different locations to select tile, stone, etc. They also listened to our ideas, "must haves" and our "second thoughts" throughout the project. Not only was the project completed on time, but the kitchen was finished early! Their trade contractors and build team are very professional and performed outstanding work. We went from an unusable closed-in space to an open kitchen that included a proportionate island with all of the amenities (and yes, even a built-in drop-down & retractable LCD TV hidden in the cabinetry). The room has essentially become an addition to the house - far more than just meal preparation it is now a place to congregate. I often work from home while seated at the island and use the kitchen as a backdrop for video conferencing. We would absolutely recommend Fallone Building and Remodeling and have engaged their services once again for the design and build of our new master bathroom (can't wait).””

“I hired Luxe Showroom Ltd. for two sequential projects: a kitchen remodel and bathroom renovation. I can't say enough about how accomodating they were during both projects. If there was a need for a change or modification they made it happen. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen renovation included replacement of all cabinetry, granite countertops, sink, backsplash, and some appliances and electrical work. They came up with a way to creatively re-use some of the existing cabinets and counters as a craft/work bench in the basement, which required some challenging carpentry work. The bathroom renovation was a complete rip out and reinstall. The designer and craftsmen worked with my 16 year old daughter to come up with a modern yet functional design, with totally custom tilework and innovative lighting. They were totally flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little of the sourcing and work as we wanted. Any minor glitches were dealt with promptly and effectively and without controversy.Budget estimates were met, and adjusted fairly if changes were significant. Overall, I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for professional, reliable and creative design and construction services.”
