The job was well-organized and the schedule was budgeted appropriately to allow for flooring acclimation and installation times. Jobsite was neat and orderly and delivery was organized/executed well, despite the extremely narrow side street and tight driveways of the neighborhood. From start to finish, Fresh Start was easy to work with. They knew how to plan for and work with a high-end finish product and treated it and us with respect. Our experience working with them to patch historic white pine and Heart Pine floors in the area has been similar. We recommend their work to clients in the Boston area.”

“Dave is an excellent craftsmen, and intelligent builder. He returns calls on time, texts daily, and his pricing and work contract are very transparent We originally needed a window replaced, but the project morphed into a much larger project because of carpenter ants. He ended up having to replace all the shingling on one side of our house. Dave was very honest and clear on how the project escalated, what new costs were and gave us different options for budget and solutions. He encouraged us to go with a bit higher quality in materials, and we are really thankful we did the job right. It was late January and he and his fellow builder showed up in 10 degree weather for a week. His coworker was a pleasure to chat with every day, With 3 children at home, it’s important to feel comfortable with workers and I fully trust Dave and his Team. He always was meticulous with clean up. My one suggestion would be to understand his payment plan. We gave him a down payment and then wrote fairly substantial checks weekly. I felt like I was not always prepared with money in the bank to cover that week’s installments. I would prefer one deposit down and final payment at end but this was our only issue. His knowledge and expertise were worth it,! We were very pleased with the end result and quality of work and highly recommend him!”
