Building a house is not the easiest thing to do especially when you re not handy or design savvy. But Dustin, Cory, John & Jason really made the process an easy one. I can t imagine if I didn t have Cory & John to help me pick all the things that make a house beautiful and a good fit for my family. Any request I had was always granted, but not before we discussed our options and pricing first. That s what I loved the most. There were no hidden costs, or attempts to push upgrades in places where we didn t want or need them. Harpe was always very straight forward with all so there weren t any surprises. Any time an issue occurred a solution was provided . This surprised me as well...given we were building a pretty large house. Honestly for all the things that went right when building with Harpe, they exceeded our expectations. A special shout out to Jason for this! He always had a handle on everything on-site, working with contractors and fielding my phone calls/emails daily with questions or changes. His response time was always quick and courteous! Everyone told us building a house was awful, too much work and not worth the time. Apparently those people didn t build with Harpe. I m sure glad we didn t listen. Thank you everyone for the beautiful home! We look forward to a lifetime of memories thanks to you!”

“New Explode Construction Saved the Project! I don't write many reviews and did so this time because Sebastian Micle, Owner of New Explode Construction, went above and beyond the call of duty. I tried to save money on some electrical work as well as a kitchen & bathroom remodel. The original contractors made many mistakes and left the place a mess. I had a tight deadline and New Explode came in and fixed all the work and then proceeded to perform several other improvements to my condo. Sebastian stands apart from most of the contractors I have worked with because he has the highest integrity and will always give you a fair and honest assessment of the situation. “We hired MegaPros to complete our guest bathroom. The challenging part was to extend it to allow for a large vanity, we had some dinky little vanity that could maybe house a hair dryer. The extended the bathroom about three feet moved our master bedroom wall, added a closet at the end of our hall way with beautiful french doors. This project could have been a nightmare. There design team had common sense, when it came to layout and practicality. It took them 3 weeks start to finish and they kept to there schedule and original contract price. All the MegaPros were great once we save enough money we will definitely welcome them back into our home.”

“We hired Century Bay Builders to do a front porch/screened in porch addition to our home and ended up adding on 5 feet to the side of our house and doing a total Kitchen remodel at the same time. Both Patrick and Nick are incredibly talented guys and very fun to work with. They listened to what we wanted to accomplish (even our crazy ideas like the outdoor shower) and made it fun to find a solution that would work to get us what we wanted with our 1920s Cape Cod-style home. They are both very creative thinkers but also great project managers. You can tell they have very good relationships with their full time carpenters as well as all of their sub contractors who have been working with them for years - some back when their father started the business many years ago. We looked at several builders before starting our project and though they were not the cheapest up front, I am so thankful we chose them to do our work. They worked very hard to ensure the quote they gave us was what they could deliver. I am sure after everything was said and done, we would have paid much more with another builder and not gotten nearly as high a quality of work or been as satisfied with the results as we are with Century Bay. Thanks to Century Bay, I now have my dream gourmet Kitchen, screened-in porch and covered front porch to relax in all summer long. Love, love, love Century Bay!”

“Ken was the third contractor I interviewed before choosing his company to do an emergency re-build of a family members home which was lost to a fire. The project was a very stressful time for me, but with Ken's help we got the new home constructed in the required amount of time to achieve insurance re-reimbursement (which is NOT easy to do, by the way) The new home turned out great. Subsequently, I hired Ken to do a major kitchen and bath re-model at my 24 year old house.- as well as install crown molding an a large tiled shower. All I can say is he tries to keep his promises and and be at the job site when needed. I feel he has fair pricing, good workers and subcontractors, and runs and honest and ethical company.”

“Due to a massive windstorm, we had shingles that had blown off the roof. It was an emergency and we needed someone to come out the same day. Above Par Construction was out within 2 hours of my call to them. John was very courteous, personable, professional and thorough. Carrie who took my phone call was very helpful and understanding. The end result is a repair that is seamless and unnoticeable as the new shingles match perfectly with the old shingles. Highly recommend!!!!”
