“I used Wow Your Ideas for a complete home renovation. The inside of my home was almost completely demolished then rebuilt into an open concept dream home. The owner, Meko Foster, has an amazing brain that can turn the most difficult ideas into reality. He is brilliant, professional, personable, extremely reliable, and ALWAYS keeps "your" best interest and budget in mind. He removed walls, ceilings, moved doorways, etc., all according to code. After the reconstruction, Meko finished the interior with décor. His eye for color, décor, and design is extraordinary, as he has the ability to coordinate and blend the entire space so that it flows from room to room. I don't believe there is any unique idea that he cannot conquer. Meko starts the process with listening to your "needs" and "wants", keeping you involved throughout the project, then miraculously brings your ideas to fruition. And, if you don't have "ideas", simply let Meko figure out what the space needs. With a small budget, he added just the right touch to another house of mine that enabled me to sell it quickly. His creativity will amaze you.”

It required some significant D&E and juggling several different teams. Anthony was on the job and available 24/7, keeping us up to date via text, emails and phone calls. “We had a wonderful experience working with Hanson General Contacting on a kitchen renovation. This was the biggest construction project we had ever undertaken and we couldn’t be happier with our new space. Our home was built in 1879, and has great character as well as challenges. HGC gutted our old kitchen and removed an exterior wall to extend the footprint. They took care to salvage existing materials, such as the original doors that were repurposed in the project. They matched the historic details, such as crown molding and trim, and they found bricks that matched the original facade. They sourced reclaimed wood to match the existing hardwood floors and beams for the extension to match the existing beams. Hanson guided us through with the right blend of soliciting our input, and advising us based on their experience and respect for our budget. We now have an amazing space where our whole family spends so much more time together.”

“All I can say is - WOW! What a fantastic experience working with Paul, The Philly Homesmith! After a few conversations with large design & build firms we knew we could not afford to go that route. Some contractors we initially interviewed gave us competitive estimates, but just could not connect with our design esthetic, which was very important to us. When we meet Paul, he listened carefully to us and asked many questions. He was really concerned with what we liked and what we needed, and gave us lots of options and ideas to consider. He helped us from planning the initial layout, to managing the entire project. He even suggested appliances, places to shop and took us to some cool salvage stores. For the powder room, he came across some free cargo box wood that ended up looking beautiful as a wall treatment. Amazing! I really believe we would have never gotten this kind of intimate service from a large company. His Estimate was very competitive and in the end we ended up being very close to budget. We went over by about 12%, only because we changed our mind on some things along the way and there were some unforeseen issues behind the ceiling and walls that needed to be repaired (Paul had warned us of that possibility early on). It was a great experience working with Paul, he's very patient and easy to get along with. He didn't get annoyed or gouge us with price hikes when we asked to change things along the way, which we've heard stories of many contractors doing. Paul's design ideas for the Kitchen and Powder room were beautiful and unique and we are extremely pleased with his work and would hire him again in a heartbeat. He pays attention to detail, is dedicated, and is a true artist and craftsman.”
