“We recently moved from London and didn’t know much about the area and that of building firms. We were recommended Heron Developments by a family friend. Any major building work carried out at your home is challenging and long. The decision to employ a building company is also a risk. However, from day one of meeting Jon, my husband and I agreed that this is the company we want to work with. Once the team were there, they sprang into action, we felt we were in good hands. A young but experienced workforce, who genuinely are interested in delivering a complete project. We are very happy indeed with the personal investment and finished project. Thoroughly recommended.”

“From start to finish, I was very impressed with James' professionalism. When giving the quote, he listened carefully to what I wanted and, when asked, offered some very good suggestions! James was very upfront with the cost of the job; the price I was quoted was the price that I paid. Furthermore, he was clear about when the job would start and how long it would take. He and his workforce were very friendly and professional throughout. I would certainly recommend James' services. I felt that what I was quoted for the work he completed was fair, the work was done to a very high standard and was completed on time. A very happy customer!”

“I have used Abbeydale for a number of projects during the renovation of my house, including the installation of a new kitchen as well as general build work and new flooring etc. The quality of the work is always very good and a professional approach taken throughout. Very competitively priced too. Would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“James and Pat and the team built our two storey extension in 2015. They did a great job, on budget (always extra costs for unexpected work or changes to our ideas)! We were really pleased to have JP McDonagh do the work having approached half a dozen builders locally for quotes. The team were reliable and considerate (our 2nd child was born halfway through the build in true Grand Design's style!). They were on site every day they said they would be. It was good to have a single point of contact in James and the breakdown of quote and invoices meant we knew exactly where we were with the costs. There were minimal issues and the minor problems with sub contractors were all resolved through James or Pat which meant a hassle free build for us. They are clearly experienced and knowledgeable and were able to suggest different ways of doing things which made the outcome even better. Would use again and have recommended to others.”
