“I highly recommend Oltean Construction! They completed my project (Sleek modern kitchen remodel in project pictures) a couple years ago and we couldn't be happier. Our project was a down to the stud remodel of our kitchen that included taking down one interior wall, adding windows to the exterior, reconfiguring the entire layout and replacing the french doors in our dining room. Their bid was competitive on price but more importantly the owner, Silviu, was very transparent on what was included, what wasn't and how we would handle issues that will always arise during a remodel. We had multiple scope revisions and I always felt like Silviu was providing a very reasonable cost on the changes and providing multiple options to control costs. Another key quality for Silviu and team as their ability to trouble shoot when issues came up. They coordinated closely with our designer to correct issues on the design dimensions, and they worked directly with the structural engineers on our project to come up with the most cost effective way to address our engineering requirements. If you're looking for a contractor you can trust and won't gouge you on the cost of every change that comes up then I highly recommend working with Oltean Construction on your project.”

“Nate worked on our kitchen / laundry room / guest bath remodel in 2020. In 2022, we hired him to replace our deck and installed new railings. In 2023, we needed to replace windows on our beach house he was the only person we contacted. His workmanship and attention to detail is incredible. We like working with him as he meets his commitments and communicates throughout the entire project. He also offers up suggestions and ideas and is a pleasure to work with. We will use him on future projects and have referred him to neighbors and family.”

“Beisas has done a number of projects for me, primarily concrete work, including a very long driveway with built-in drainage, retaining walls and sidewalk work. Most recently they removed an old cyclone fence and put in a nice wood fence with retaining wall. Their work is always excellent. They are always on schedule, very pleasant workers, and the price is right! I would not hesitate to hire them again!”

“Viking removed my bathtub and replaced it with a walk-in shower. He did an excellent job even though there was a lot of dry rot that had to be removed. He worked very well with my HOA and I highly recommend him. I would use him again for any future projects.”

“We have known David Sideras, as friend, for years and always liked his work. We liked his sense of design and the quality of his work. A couple of years ago, after talking to multiple GC's about remoding our home, and getting bids that were obviously generic and not well thought out, we decided to risk our friendship and asked David to bid on the project. His bid was well thought out, and actually pretty reasonable, considering we were doing a whole-house remodel from the sheetrock out. The most surprising thing was the timeline -- He said he could have it done in two months. Our neighbors immediately started betting on when it would be done, with the favorite bet being 6 months or longer. It actually took 2 and a half months, not because of anything David did, but because the first kitchen sink we chose, we didn't like, and it took 3 weeks to get another sink. ”

“Nick Pugmire is a true professional and craftsman. His quality of work is outstanding and his eye for detail is superior. We went through some bad apples for carpentry / handyman work on our house until we finally found Port Town Construction. Nick came up with some solutions to tricky problems regarding nesting birds in open beams. He also is a good listener to what you want, takes notes and isn't afraid to ask questions and double check that you are on the same page. We would definitely hire his crew again. Our fence is beautiful and our tricky house issues are resolved.”

“As a custom cabinet manufacturer (Cabinets By Steve) we work with several General Contractors. As with all relationships, some are better than others. Chris Loar with Advanced Alterations and Installations has always been great to work with. He communicates the project details clearly and accurately, he schedules his projects well, and he pays close attention to the detail and planning of a project to avoid surprises. I would definitely recommend Chris and AAI.”
