“I hired South Park on the recommendation of a friend to plan and execute my condo renovation project. The place was to be completely gutted, some walls moved, all of the flooring replaced, along with a complete re-do of the kitchen cabinetry, plumbing, and a rebuild of the bathrooms. Project Management: Matt and the guys at South Park were exceptional at managing the project from beginning to end. They gave me a realistic budget with a clear understanding of the elements of the project that were uncertain. They were also excellent at anticipating what areas I may want to add/remove from the scope of the project as it progressed and at working within the confines of my budget. They were incredibly transparent and at no point was I uncertain of how we were tracking to the budget, despite there being a number of moving parts. The project involved a move-out/move-in and South Park helped to organize and coordinate with the movers. Over the course of the 8-week project, I needed to be out of town for about 3 weeks. During this time, Matt kept me apprised of the situation with the renovations, using an online project management tool to send me photos of the progress. As this was a condominium project, South Park needed to coordinate with the Property Management with respect to association regulations, bookings and tools. They were exceptional at managing this without requiring my intervention. DEFINITELY worth every penny to eliminate this headache alone, not to mention all the coordination with the various contractors and specialists involved. Suppliers & Contractors: The contractors and suppliers were extremely professional, respectful and skilled. I was very impressed with the various trades involved in the project and was kept in the loop for all major decisions. No friction at all, and I took advantage of South Park's excellent supplier relationships in my purchase of hardwood, tile and other materials. Overall Assessment: Excellent. Professional, transparent and very easy to work with. Very highly recommended!”

“NEC PLUS ULTRA ! The house I bought needed extensive renovations, however the schedule was very tight. I interviewed eight general contractors, each one highly recommended through various sources and references. I decided on Mike Lawrance and his M-Squared Contracting team. Mike came across as a real professional. He listened to my ideas and requirements, gave advice as to which ones of my ideas were feasible and which ones needed to be revised, in short he neither tried to bring in someone else as a “designer”, nor did he just look around and say “leave it with me, you’ll be happy”. If needed, his team was also prepared to work on Saturdays – which most of the other interviewed contractors were not. Renovation results: Within the time frame of only three weeks Mike was given, he and his team did: -A full renovation of the kitchen and of the bathroom, -An extensive upgrading of living room and dining room, -A change of all windows and exterior doors, -The creation of a library and of a bathroom in the basement, -Repainting of the entire interior. One day BEFORE the deadline, Mike and his team were finished, and the house handed over to me, cleaned-up spic and span. The quality of the work was absolutely tops, first class, beyond my expectations. Billing: Except where absolutely unavoidable, the billings did not exceed the quoted prices. Each invoice was not only scrupulously itemized, but photocopies of Mike’s material purchases were attached to his bills. The whole process was completely transparent and verifiable. Attitude/ work relationship: The team members are competent and friendly, the communication between client and contractor – which I consider an important factor – was absolutely excellent. My conclusion: With M-Squared Contracting, one is dealing with friendly yet true no-nonsense professionals of the highest caliber, constantly striving for excellence.”
