“Sylvestre has done one major remodeling project for me (kitchen addition) and a few minor ones. I live in a 1924 bungalow and nothing is simple. He added six feet to the kitchen and it looks original. The old fashioned detailing i.e. Bead board under the eaves, matching stucco, textured cinder block and more make all the difference. I do not have a "hunk of addition." My neighbors don't remember how it was. when I called I said I wanted a new kitchen that looks old and I'm still delighted eleven years later. He's done several small projects for me including one just last year. These people are fabulous.”

This project included opening up a load bearing wall and closing the former entry into the kitchen and then they worked from a completely gutten kitchen to the fabulous kitchen I ended up with - the only thing that did not need to be replaced was the floor. Rick Tollerud was our project manager and I was very impressed with Rick's attention to detail and his excellent communication skills. Everyone that had a hand in our kitchen did an outstanding job and we absolutely love the finished product! I would highly recommend Iron River Construction Company and actually already have! My neighbor is now using their services as a result on her kitchen remodel!”

“Homestead Remodeling did a great job finishing our basement for us after we had a serious flood. They were patient and worked with us as we expanded the scope of work significantly over time. They gave us good suggestions and helped us talk through what materials we would want/not want to use in a basement space. They were responsive to design requests and custom designed an under the stairs storage area, half wall shelf and laundry cabinet/counter to hide our machines from view that we just love. We also used their paint color consultant and she was top notch as well. When we had questions or issues moving forward they were very responsive and came over to our house to help us trouble shoot. We are moving soon and would hire Homestead again for future work in our new home.”
