“" Although we were happy with the location of our property in Southchurch which had already had a side and rear extension over 20 years ago; we had been thinking of moving as the house had become tired and dated. The layout badly needed bringing up to modern standards to make much better use of the space we had. We did think we had enough design knowledge ourselves to do this but in the end we decided to get the job done professionally and we are so pleased that we did call in Lindsey from Hedgehog Designs to help. She listened to our requirements and provided us with detailed and accurate plans of the existing house and several options for both the ground and first floor. Our new look downstairs will have the kitchen, dining room and 'garden room' opened up to become a super modern airy space. Lindsey's ideas for special windows in the flat roof and a large bi-fold will give much more light and a real wow factor. She has also come up with 3 options for an ensuite upstairs which was the other thing the house was lacking. We have opted to use one of the builders that Lindsey recommended and we know that the work will make such a difference when the project completes in spring next year.
