“My wife and I hired Jeannette Architects to assist us with a major remodel (interior/exterior) of our 3,500 sq. ft. ranch style home in Newport Beach. The task: incorporate warm contemporary design into our 1970's "woody cabin." As a real estate developer and because it's our third major house remodel there were many design elements we knew we wanted but many more that we needed help with. As capable as Jeff (Jeannette) is with his design sense, we believe that it's his ability to listen to his clients, understand client goals, how we will live in the space and how that fits into our budget is what sets Jeff apart from other architects. The Jeannette team met aggressive time constraints, produced a thorough set of construction documents, were always quick to provide clarification and answers to our questions and were great resources for product and material options and information. True professionals that we would use again and confidently refer to others. Our project is nearing completion and I can't wait to share photos.”

“Wow! Stratos Form not only met our expectations but greatly exceeded them! I can not say enough about Carol and the positive role she played in our entire project. She not only was brilliant in the concept and design of our home, but she was always professional and gave us perfect advise through the entire Design Review process with the City of Laguna Beach (always a tough one). Our architectural plans were beyond thorough, our builder said he had never seen such detailed drawings. During the conceptual process Carol listened to our needs and incorporated all of our requests, while maintaining the highest of design standards. I would eagerly refer Carol and Stratos Form to anyone who asked!”

“Our extraordinary custom home, designed and reconstructed by October 5 Fine Home Builders is undeniably a work of art. October 5 offers superior design and execution, where form and function converge. Ryan, the project superintendent, attends to every detail with an eye for quality and perfection. Their open-floor plan design blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, light abounds in every room, yet the space remains purposely private and intimate. Originally constructed in 1953, our home had not undergone any remodeling or updating. During construction, the house was all but demolished - leaving only the rough framing and portions of the exterior stucco and siding. Earthquake updates, 200 amp electrical service, beefed-up insulation, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning, smooth drywall, wide-plank flooring, bathrooms, kitchen, and dual-glazed windows supported the bulk of the project, which lasted 4 ½ months. With clean contemporary lines, the modern floor plan, great for entertaining, offers a celebrated life-style. What a beautiful and relaxing way to enjoy life! We say, “Call October 5 to celebrate your next project.””

“These guys were outstanding; we built a large house and guest house in Laguna Beach. It was a total success despite not hiring a general contractor. We were on time and on budget and got a beautiful property; these guys were the single biggest reason for that outcome. They are a great combination; they truly care, listen and advise, Anthony is also a general contractor which was a nice resource to fall back on when needed. At the time we got eight bids, they were one of the least expensive, but in hindsight, I would have gone with them even if they were the most costly. Highly recommended.”
