Jessica listened to my wish list and used her professional, creative style and came up with a classic plan that we are enjoying more that we could imagine. “My HOA hired Klopf Architecture to design new fences, front gates, lighting and paint color plans for our condominiums. They were designed in 1963 by Quincy and Jones and built in 1964 by Eichler Homes. Replacements in the 1990s did not serve the mid-century aesthetic well -- but owners did not want to return to the light-inhibiting original thin-line panel fences and gates. The Klopf team produced three outstanding options. The one we selected includes brilliant design features like frosted glass doors with 1/4-in spaces between fence boards to allow light in along with clear glass doors for the pool area with 1/2-in spaces between boards surrounding it. The overall design and color plan is clean and elegant. John Klopf and his team could not have been more friendly and flexible throughout. We look forward to implementing this design over the next few years.”

His skill at listening to our wants and needs resulted in several meetings where his solutions for technical problems encountered were masterful, and as a result, our new farmhouse-inspired kitchen has become the spot where our large family loves to live. I highly recommend Daniel, not only for his training as an architect, but also for his training in landscape architecture, which gives him an ability to understand the link between inside and outside.”

“Michael Hyde of MJH Construction recently did complete renovation of my 3,000 ft.2 home including all plumbing, electric, windows, roof, HVAC, floors, etc. He did a wonderful job. The work is immaculate. He is very good at staying on top of the subs and negotiating a good deal. He is also very honest. His price was very competitive.”

“My husband and I have worked with Harris & Kasten since the late 1990s. They have done many projects for us, including our lovely home in Atherton. Our home is a combination of Italian and French design. Everything was done to a tee! We could not be more pleased with their knowledge of art, art history, history, architecture, etc. You cannot go wrong with them.”
