Savant Homes, Inc.The concept of this project was to bring life to this house and bring it back to its mid-century roots with a modern twist. Opening interior walls and connecting adjacent spaces was framework was open for the Interior Design.
The Kitchen mixes warm wood tones and cool blue cabinets to enhance the richness of the space. Exposed Structural Glulam Beams were installed throughout to open the adjacent spaces and allow for the connections to flow between new/old.

The walls are finished in a dark hue of soft
matte green that absorbs the natural light
creating the illusion of depth.
A bespoke walnut desk with sliding doors
paired with a burnt orange desk lamp and
velvet upholstered armchairs add autumnal
tones contrasted with brushed brass lighting
and accessories. The study is a calm and cocooning creating the perfect place to think, read and reflect.

An addition and reconstruction of approx. 750sq. area.
That included new kitchen, office, family room and back patio cover area.
The custom-made kitchen cabinets are semi-inset / semi-frameless combination.
The door style was custom build with a minor bevel at the edge of each door.
White oak was used for the frame, drawers and most of the cabinet doors with some doors paint white for accent effect.
The island "legs" or water fall sides if you wish and the hood enclosure are Tambour wood paneling.
These are 3/4" half round wood profile connected together for a continues pattern.
These Tambour panels, the wicker pendant lights and the green live walls inject a bit of an Asian fusion into the design mix.
The floors are polished concrete in a dark brown finish to inject additional warmth vs. the standard concrete gray most of us familiar with.
A huge 16' multi sliding door by La Cantina was installed, this door is aluminum clad (wood finish on the interior of the door).
DwellifyThis green-loving homeowner came to us with a specific vision in mind - they wanted to go green. By incorporating a fun, geometric tile, a mix of black and gold accents, and a gorgeous free-standing bathtub, our team was able to turn this bathroom into their dream space. After the remodel was complete, the homeowner incorporated plants and additional green accents to take this green bathroom to the next level and truly make it their own.

With a combination of Room and Board sofas, vintage pieces and custom drapery, this mid-century inspired home shines for its family of six. A floating sink base, vessel sink, wall mounted faucet, suspended mirror, floating vanity lights and gorgeous micro tile... what is there not to love?
Breathe Design StudioOur Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom.
The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space.
In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.
