“We must, by way of relief and gratitude, begin this review of Thoroughbred Custom Homes with the highest regard and highest recommendation! I first would like to start by commending TCH on their utmost honesty, high integrity, and professionalism through and through. After critically and extensively researching several other “custom home builders” in the DFW area, i can confidently say that none of them hold a candle next to Thoroughbred. Thoroughbred created a masterpiece of a home that far exceeded our already very high expectations. The quality and scale of our home is stellar- they do not take shortcuts. The materials thoroughbred used to construct the shell of our home, as their standard, typically would cost tens of thousands to upgrade to through other home builders. They truly are not bluffing when they say high quality is their standard, this company sets the bar extraordinarily high. Harris and Evan are exceptional construction managers. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to ensure to job site was clean each and every day, and most importantly that the jobs were being done right. They kept us informed at all times and made sure jobs were getting done on schedule day in and day out. They were very transparent about costs, and they made the process so easy with the BuilderTREND app. Unlike our experience with other large scale home builders, we were never once blind sided or price gouged when it came to choosing interior finishes. In fact, because of our experiences with other home builders in the area, i can also confidently say that thoroughbred has the most generous allowances when selecting finishes. As someone who is passionate about design- this is where it hit a home run for me. Gina, who leads the design aspect of construction was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gina has excellent taste, class, and vision. She helped guide me through to make the right choices, in addition to steering me away from what could be a bad choice by considering the dynamics of our life…(kids, dogs, etc.) She truly pulled everything together seamlessly without me ever feeling overwhelmed, and i never want to design another house without her!! All of this leads me to say that although Thoroughbred Custom Homes is a newer builder to the North Dallas area- they are exactly what this area has been missing. You can find a home builder just about anywhere in Dallas- but you won’t find a top of the line, best of the best builder like Thoroughbred.”

New custom hickory cabinets, quartz countertops, fabulous glass backsplash, top of the line appliances, modern/contemporary style. Stringer Construction and Design was very professional, knowledgeable, and completed the project in a timely manner and within our budget!”

“Project in August 2013: Complete remodel of bathroom. Removed tub and enclosure. Built walk-in shower. Removed corner linen closet to free up more countertop space. Relocated plumbing and vent stack, to increase shower space, requiring trenching in foundation. Result:“I was impressed by the attention to detail and quality of work that was exhibited. I was able to provide timely input on small, but important design decisions that always come up during remodel projects. The crew arrived on time, when scheduled, and maintained a very clean work area. There was a high degree of continuity among crew. As a result, we really love the final result, and will kick off another project next year.””

“Our entire end to end home construction experience with Newport Homebuilders was excellent. Everyone on the Newport team is highly professional, very experienced, and is committed to providing the highest quality product and service. Throughout the entire design, construction, and follow-up process, the team made a continuous effort to assure our requirements, expectations, and questions were managed in timely and thorough manner. We found Newport Homebuilders to be very flexible during the construction planning phase relative to assuring all of our nonstandard desires could be incorporated into our finished home. Unlike the big homebuilder companies, we were able to easily modify the base floor plan to include our personal design preferences into our final plans. The team was very accommodating and offered their perspective and guidance to be sure the changes we identified fit nicely with the overall design and layout. We also were very pleased with the generous list of features which were offered as standard, versus costly upgrades with competing homebuilders. Newport Homebuilders molding and trim package is second to none when compared to other homebuilders at this price point product. This trim quality and attention to detail was a key factor in selecting Newport Homebuilders to build our home. “We can't say enough about Bryant Construction. They are honest, dependable and sincere. We have already referred them to several friends. We had used another company before we knew of this one and they took months to even start the job. Bryant Construction began right away at our convenience. They were also great to follow up with us along the way instead of us having to reach out to them. Great service! They redid our roofing, gutters, windows and garage doors as well as repainted everything. We just love the results. Thank you Bryant General Construction for everything.”

“The two things that most influenced my decision to work with Agape were: 1) Agape's excellent feedback on Angie's List; 2) Jerry's (the owner) "regular guy" appeal to the consumer. No sales pitch; all work is done by the company and not sub'd out. All companies say they value customer satisfaction, but Jerry sincerely conveyed to me that customer service is not simply a slogan but guiding principle of Agape. They delivered!!! His workers were polite, timely, and meticulous in the quality of their work; the finished product greatly exceeded my expectations. I own several rental properties across the country and regularly interact with contractors. I can honestly say that Agape is the best team I have ever worked with. He is very budget conscious, pays attention to time frame and all the many details that go into a remodel. His crew is very tidy and very respectful of your space.
