“I am a lifetime customer of Shaw Company because they did an excellent job for me. When my hot water heater broke and completely destroyed my master bath and bedroom, we decided it was time to go ahead and upgrade the original design. I made a call to Shaw Co. and they were there that afternoon with everything needed to begin the drying out process of our disaster. They were very detailed in the removal of anything that may cause future health or structural concerns for my family. Once everything was dry and cleaned up they began to start our remodel. The recommendations that they made were very innovative and once we decided on the direction to go, they were on it. The crew was very conscientious and courteous. More importantly, they finished the project on time and budget. We are extremely pleased with the end result! It's nice to deal with a company that does what they say they are going to do. ”

“KC Custom Homes recently completed our dream home in Cordova on Canyon Lake. Our experience from initial contact with Ken Castro and his sons to visualizing our dreams with Rudy, the amazing home designer, were superior to all the custom home stories I had heard. The foundation was poured at the start of June and we moved in at the end of December. Our project manager - Jaime- worked from day 1 to stay on top of the build and ensure each step was done well. The entire process was a positive one and we believe much of that starts with the vision and work ethic of KC Custom Homes and those who work for this company. Were there some bumps- of course- but KC Custom Homes worked through each issue that surfaced. We are so pleased to be in our home and would welcome the chance to talk more about our experience. “What started with moving furniture and noticing a soft spot in the carpet along the edge of an outside wall and a water spot suddenly appearing in the ceiling above it with San Antonio’s heavy rains of Sept 2018 started our journey with DMJ Restorations. Sam Hoffman was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us through the insurance process and, because of his efforts, we actually received more money than we might have received otherwise. We learned a lot along the course. We have been so pleased with their entire team for a multitude of tasks they did for us – roofing, demolition, construction, sheetrock, painting and carpet installation. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they were going to do (and then some), and cleaned up extremely well after themselves. All while respecting our home and its contents. They paid attention to all of the little details, some we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish. Would we recommend them to others? YOU BET and without hesitation!”

“Phillip Fields, Owner of Acme Doors, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was professional from the first phone call to his inspection of the job after it was totally completed to our satisfaction. The quality of the work was also top notch. He kept the house clean during his work and cleaned up afterwards each day. He was also extremely punctual and the job began and ended on the agreed time. I have to say that his crew had all the high qualities of Phillip. The material and doors he had custom made were also of the highest quality. Acme Doors and Phillip Fields are very highly recommended.”

“After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result.
