“Good Construction Incorporated was recommended to us for our kitchen remodel and room addition. Mac and Nicole Good are consummate professionals who listened to our ideas and went right to work to prepare a schedule and floor plan to meet our needs. Nicole ensured that the contractors knew their schedule and kept us informed every step of the way.
The remodel took the demolition of the kitchen and part of the garage and deck down to the studs and put it all back together again with new plumbing, electrical and heating. Nicole knew the right vendors to purchase our cabinetry, appliances and back splash tile to achieve the overall aesthetic. All the work performed throughout the remodel is of the highest standard and we enjoyed working with Nicole, Mac, and all of their sub-contractors.
Mac and Nicole did some of the work themselves when one contractor had a conflict to ensure the project remained on schedule. Throughout the construction, they made sure debris was removed so it would not become an eyesore. We will definitely be calling them for any future renovation needs we may have.”

“Allan Magee, owner of Blue Moon Bay, was an exceptional builder. This was the first house my husband and I had ever built, and Allan helped us throughout the process. His focus is high efficiency energy homes. This was the only builder we know of in the area who specializes on the newest and best products in this field. Our retirement home is built on Lake Catherine and required jumping through lots of hoops to make sure we were out of the flood plain so that we could get homeowner's and flood insurance. We were on a strict budget and Allan was helpful and sensitive to that requirement. Our 1,800 sq. ft. home is well designed with plenty of space and has a gorgeous view of the lake. It is all electric and our energy bill averages about $100 a month. We have triple-pane windows, no air loss around windows or doors, and caulking all wood-to-wood joints to prevent even the smallest air leaks. There are several components that add up to high energy efficiency, but the single most important feature is reduction of air leaks. For us, we’ve never lived in a home that was this comfortable. We have large windows across the back of our house with west exposure, and we don’t feel the heat or cold anywhere in the house including the windows. We’re practically sitting on the lake and we see boats pass by but we don’t hear them. For me, that was unexpected and pretty amazing. We love our new home. The view of the lake from the open living area, kitchen and bedroom is stunning. We enjoy a large deck the length of the house and spend lots of hours there each day. The attention to detail on the interior is superb and very well constructed. We love our retirement house on beautiful Lake Catherine and we can thank our builder for an even better house than we hoped for. This builder is experienced, knows his industry, has the utmost integrity and stays abreast of new products as they become available.”
