“Manny Lopez and his team of professionals completed a full remodel of the landscaping projects we desired around our home last year. All of the work was top quality and done to our satisfaction. He coordinated his team's work with other contractors installing solar, and a large swim spa, as well as a complex deck. There were no disagreements with other workmen on the projects, and the advance planning allowed for the use of heavy machinery where needed, concrete deliveries, and other materials for all the other projects. Regarding ideas we had for the way we wanted the final project to look, Manny provided timely ideas, excellent solutions that were cost effective or even saved money, and he always came in on time. “Darek Janczy of DJ Construction recently completed a comprehensive remodel of my 2,433 sqft house in Pacific Grove. The project included replacing all windows, flooring, and doors; removing 1970’s “popcorn” ceilings; installing overhead LED lighting in all rooms; expanding the outdoor deck; knocking down old walls and building new ones; reconfiguring the front entry; replacing all fixtures; repainting the exterior and interior; strengthening the foundation; and creating a stunning new open kitchen with a 10-foot island. “My wife and I reside in La Selva Beach and decided to major remodel our master bathroom from mundane to elegant. As an owner builder, I had built 3 homes in the Santa Cruz area on my own, however at this time in our lives, we wanted someone else to do the job correctly. I have two brother in laws who are retired general contractors and they were not keen on going back to work for us. We were fortunate to have had Robert Silva introduced to us, and he made magic happen. With our input, he showed us many designs, hardware, fixture, and tile options and took our wishes to design the new bathroom for us. Robert gave us a very strait forward estimate of the costs for demolition, framing, sheetrock, tile work, plumbing, glass, painting, and all material costs. We stayed within budget without any difficulties. One of the things that impressed us was that Robert was on the job swinging his own hammer for much of the project and all of his subcontractors were skilled professionals. The worksite was cleaned up everyday after they completed their day’s labor and we were able to use our bathroom facilities throughout the entire project (except when they were actively working on it). Of course we did solicit competitive bids from other reputable Santa Cruz contractors, however Robert’s numbers clearly won the bidding. We were extremely pleased with his honesty, work ethic and of course the finished product that gave us our beautiful new bathroom. Without question we feel it appropriate to give ProBuilt Constuction 5 stars.”

“I had Paxton Pacific do a remodeling job for me starting De. 2012. They did a fantastic job on the project I hired them. After completion of the job I had them do another job. 1st job was removing the old roof on a deck 2nd story. They built a new frame and then covered the deck to make it water proof and have shade. They gave me an estimate before they started and did the jobs in budget. Will use them again if needed and would recommend them to anyone. They gave me a completion date and finished the on time.”
