“K. A. Clason (Kurt) designed and built our 3 bedroom/2bath Adirondack summer island home on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. Kurt has extensive knowledge & experience of adirondack style homes. Kurt worked with us thru all aspects of the project making necessary changes along the way to meet our needs. Kurt customized the railings using trees from our property. He customized the house to account for my husband's height of 6'7". Cabinetry, closets & storage areas were designed and placed to make the maximum use of the space provided. Throughout the project we witnessed Kurt's incredible working relationship with other subcontractors he brought in to complete our home. We met weekly at the property, Kurt was always available to discuss the project. Kurt has amazing knowledge of building a island home to suit an owners needs. Our home is only accessible by boat. Our project was completed within the original budget except for upgrades we requested along the way & within the time frame promised. Every aspect of the house was first class.”

He has also done an excellent job in explaining and showing things to me so that I understand.

He came out to my home examined the damage, was extremely helpful in what would work for a design/colors that would make it to be my home. Unfortunately we did not hire him, but we are now looking to building a new home and once we decide on a plot of land, more than likely will be contacting him.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Alan Mann on four distinct projects over a 10 year period of time. All have been large, multi-week remodeling projects that have improved our home (and our parent’s home). These projects have included all aspects of home building and have been delivered earlier than expected with excellent value. Our most recent project was a major remodel of our kitchen. Ironically, we had friends doing the same – our project started later, ended earlier, was less expensive and yet was for a larger space. Previous projects have included adding extensive trim work to a previously unadorned house, converting an attic space to a two person office with sitting area, adding a bathroom, built-ins for multiple bedrooms, and rehabbing an older ranch (our parent’s home) that had significant structural damage from pests.
In general, we have come to view Alan as our partner in home improvement who not only delivers excellent work but helps us with both the small and large choices that come with any construction project. He has an excellent eye and judgment for trim work -- our crown molding project was a collaboration between myself and Alan (with no outside design help) and we were thrilled with the result. Our kitchen team did include a design professional as well as two outside subs – Alan’s easy demeanor and professionalism saw us through the type of project that strains many teams. He worked with all the team members smoothly and scheduled his work to minimize disruption to our household. He shows up ready to work hard but with a cheerful attitude that makes the project more fun and less daunting. At this point, Alan is always my first call for any project and he is well worth waiting for when his schedule fills.”
