“My wife and I were introduced to Nelson by a kitchen designer we hired. Nelson is in commercial lighting, having done a major airport, conversion of a large corporate headquarters to a hotel, among other very large projects. He happens to live in our town and it was convenient for him to help us with a residential project. Nelson looked at our kitchen plan and described what he had in mind. It sounded great! The next day I received a CAD lighting plan and all the spec sheets for the products he recommended. Nelson stopped by several times to check on things and ultimately to program the switching system. The electricians really enjoyed working with Nelson and they learned a great deal from him. The lighting in our kitchen is a highlight. The cost was reasonable for such a sophisticated plan. Nelson is a pro's pro, and it is clearly reflected in our kitchen. We were really fortunate to be able to work with him and we highly recommend him.”

“Eichen's Lighting is fabulous. A great find for the Bay Area, where I struggled to get good service and a good price. Not to name other stores, but the prominent lighting store in SF has repeatedly been rude and non communicative once I've placed an order, likely because I'm not a designer or have huge orders, but I'm a paying customer that deserves respect. Eichen's on the other hand in locally owned and you get the attention and help you deserve, no matter who you are. They have an amazing selection and their staff are super knowledgeable and will help you find exactly what you're looking for, even if they have to order it. The new showroom is gorgeous and helps bring ideas to life, which is important since Lighting is 3-dimensional and magazine/online doesn't do it justice. The best part is that they are open on the weekends, making it easy for me to shop and pick up deliveries while not taking time off work.”

“I first hired Nancy in 2000 as a lighting designer in the renovation of a huge old house in Pacific Heights (San Francisco). Her wonderful sense of space, design, and era helped me transform the lighting in this 1915 classic home into well-lit space without ruining the ceiling lines and overpowering the beautiful interior. “We love our outdoor iLighting system from High Quality LED Lighting. We installed a circle driveway and the lighting system creates a warm and welcoming glow to the driveway and walkway at night. The service has been fabulous as well. We had a couple lights that got slightly damaged or stopped working. We sent them back and were given full replacements and/or credit as per our preference. We have gotten a number of compliments from neighbors and happily recommend the product and company.”
