“Elaine and her hardworking crew did an incredible job transforming my front and back yard to beautiful places where I now wanted to spend more time there. Endowed with oriental background with years of working experience in the west, Elaine has a very unique and artistic eye that I can rarely find in other designs's. Infused with her great taste, my yard turned into a piece of art work. Elaine kept the process clear and stayed communicative and responsive throughout the project. Before the project started, she collected my preference and listened patiently to my requests, and also shared her ideas and visions to me. With a deep understanding of her client's requests and a rich professional knowledge , she soon turned our discussion to a solid proposal, followed by high-quality and efficient labor work monitored by herself. “Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

“San Jose Tree Service is amazing! They were punctual and professional. Noe was easy to work with - he had great ideas but also accommodated our ideas. Our project was unique - it was 2 adjoining neighbors' yards with a bocce court in the middle. They executed our plan perfectly! “We used Craig's firm to do a complete landscape of our front and backyard in 2016 and 2017. Craig is easy to work with: he doesn't rush decisions; he works with you to create designs; and he hires high quality and hardworking team leaders and workers. When our friends and family walk into our large backyard, for the first time, complete with a gazebo with pink roses running around it, they gasp with delight. In addition, we found his prices to be competitive and fair.”

“I chose Tom for a few reasons. From the three bids that we received, I liked and trusted him the most. I having a background in construction myself, I was able to test him, as I did with everyone else. And I valued his honesty and work ethics. He was very good with explaining and answered most of my questions before I ask them. His. His price was reasonable as well. As for the end results, my wife and I were very happy and ended up giving him another job. The initial job was a shared bathroom. And later on we hire Tom to do the master bathroom which came out amazing!”

“JPM came in and rescued our backyard. Understood our budget limitations and what we wanted and created a backyard paradise that incorporated existing items while adding some new features.
