“Amazing experience in dealing with this company. Was very indecisive on what type of flooring to use and my flooring sales person (ask for Rojulio) did an awesome job guiding me through different types of brands and the pro's and con's of each. Bonus for calling my installer to verify measurements and the right type of metal stripping to use on the top of my tile. Look out for me for my bathroom and hopefully they are up to the challenge Also a thumbs up for having someone that spoke Spanish- made my transaction a little easier.”

“Davis and Daughters is a hidden treasure of resource materials for the professional interior designer. Their well organized and vast fabric and trim sample library makes it almost unnecessary to travel to the City. The friendly and staff is always ready with pricing and product information. The showroom is clean, well organized and consistently has new samples. I continue to use Davis and Daughters as a supplier for fabric, broadloom, area rugs and furnishings.”

“bob and his team installed Du Chateau hardwood floors in the main living areas of our home, and Fabbrica carpet in the bedrooms. Everything was done in the time frame promised and within budget. Measuring was done perfectly, so there was a little but not a lot of leftover materials. His crew of installers were efficient and experienced, and we enjoyed having them in our home. Although there were some problems with hardwood noise initially, Bob and his crew inspected the work and made adjustments that corrected the problems. We love the work and highly recommend Murnane Floors!”

“Phenomenal family owned business, with great service and even better prices. We had Diablo Flooring install carpets in our bedrooms, closets, stairs and loft after we purchased our first home. They came out right away for an estimate and their prices were incredibly reasonable. They came back four days later and did the whole job and it turned out beautiful. We were so happy with how everything turned out, we even had them make us an area rug out of the same carpet that we used in the rest of the house. All in all, I would never think of using anyone else for carpet in the bay area ever again.”

“Floorcraft has been an amazing resource when I built my home and for the many remodeling projects I have worked on for the past 15 years. The store has everything I need from all types of flooring (beautiful carpets, wood and more), cabinets, appliances, bathroom fixtures, to a great selection tile. Floorcraft is a wonderful balance of a large enough store to carry everything for my projects and small enough to offer personal service. The staff helps me make decisions, my orders arrive quickly, the prices are good and they provide reliable service when they come out to measure or install. I've recommended Floorcraft to many friends and they have been very impressed. Currently, I'm remodeling my home and felt great going back to Floorcraft for all my needs!”

“I bought two Bokara/Turkomen oriental rugs from the RUG Gallery in Santa Rosa, CA. I met; Sima Vaghti and Mitch and I like them immediately. I knew I was in good hands. I told them what I was looking for and both Sima and Mitch came over to my house to see where I wanted the rug. They took measurement and then I met them at the store and they showed me some rugs. I picked out the rug I wanted and they delivered it. I lived with the rug for about three days and I was not happy with the rug (wrong color). Sima said George no problem and I picked out another and I am so happy with it. She noticed that I had a Persian Rug in my living room. She loved it. I told her that I need the fringes repair. No problem she said. She picked up the rug had it repaired. That rug had not been cleaned for 30 years. They set that up also. Anyways they told me that it was critical to have a good quality rug pad underneath. So I had two rugs handled. She noticed my dining room rug and knew it was machine made. I was going by the store again to say hello and how happy I was with my new rug. She told Mitch to show me a rug that had just came into the store and I loved it immediately. I took a picture of it and told them that I had to wait because I couldn’t afford it.at the time. Approximately 2 months later Sima called and told me that the rug was on sale and it was in my price range. They brought the rug over, and then ordered me a pad. Sima delivered the pad and helped me cut it to size. Mitch picked up the old dining room rug which was given to me to donate it. That rug was so bad, smelled awful etc. even though it looked very good on the surface. I didn’t ask what they did with it. I love these guys. They are very professional (sales people, you know how that goes) but they treated me so great you would think that they were my family. I introduce them to two of my daughters and they liked her immediately. She and Mitch I feel became part of our family. They are a one shop store. I definitely would recommend them to anyone. I know someone who has an oriental rug and I explained to them how important it was to have a good quality pad to protect the life of their rug thanks to the knowledge given to me by Sima and Mitch. I could go on and on talking about Sima and Mitch.”

“I found this store in Berkeley and they have a wonderful selection of beautiful handmade rugs from around the world. The owner was able to tell me about the styles and artistry of the rugs and I got a wonderful deal on the rug that I picked out. Very kind people, very knowledgeable and a great alternative to the more expensive rug stores in the Bay Area.”
