“My husband and I finally bought our "Dream House". Built in 1922 it had everything we were looking for but my main requirement was that it was "old". I had visions of restoring it to its glory days! I had carried around a file titled "Old House" for years with pictures of ideas and furniture that I knew I wanted to incorporate into our house. We were only going to redo one bathroom, well maybe two. But as we admired our beautiful old girl, we knew she was worthy of an entire renovation. We had a few rules: update but respect the period in which she was built. And we had to keep the original floors and windows!
