“Chris Skocay is a pleasure to work with. He is a high quality fine art carpenter, a clear and timely communicator and a craftsman with the highest standards. During the past year he covered all the beams in our modern house with cherry, built us a custom living room floor to ceiling cherry cabinet and shelving unit with a granite top and renovated a craftsman style bathroom complete with custom medicine cabinet, vanity and closet. Chris's design ideas created a lot of space and elegance in our small bathroom. He understood what we wanted and made all of our ideas come to life in a way that was better than we could have imagined. He fluidly contracted other professionals to complete the jobs. Chris is a great listener, a prompt responder to emails, calls and texts and completed all his work on time to the highest quality. He cleaned up every day and never left a trace of mess. HIs beautiful work has significantly improved the value and quality of our home and daily lives.”

“Craig provides excellent customer service, and professional carpentry (a rare find these days). He was able to put some of my antiques together for use, and repair broken parts. How many people nowadays would know how to do that???? He is responsive, shows up ON TIME, ON SCHEDULE, and works a solid day. No breaks, no iphone interruptions, just honest hard work. And great results. I will be going to him in future for whatever I need. I don't need to get 3 other bids: I have found my one source.”

“We met Tom when he did our kitchen through a designer. Fabulous work, attention to detail, listens well and executes accordingly. We have had him back to build a custom sewing studio where he built all the cabinetry from scratch, maximized the use of space, and added custom features that make a huge usability difference. We also had him back to refinish several teak tables that all look better than new. Not only is he a top shelf carpenter, but he is also a creative designer, trustworthy, reasonably priced, and above all else he is an excellent communicator who, get this, does what he says he's going to do, when he says he is going to do it. Extremely happy to have Tom as a resource.”

“I hired MCC to redo my kitchen. In short - they did a fantastic job and we absolutely LOVE our new kitchen! MCC did everything from leveling the floor to putting our decorative knobs on the new cabinets. Chris even discovered some weather damage to our siding which he fixed (and did correctly, as the previous owners took some shortcuts). What stood out the most to me was that he and his team took the time to put up plastic barriers over the doorways to contain the dust and keep it from going into the rest of the house. They also cleaned up after themselves every day. Every. Day. Not only professional, but just a good guy, personable and easy to work with. He and his wife managed all the vendors (scheduling of plumber and electrician) and ensured everything was up to code and properly inspected. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely be using them for future projects.”
