Baroque Flooring

zuletzt bearbeitet:vor 6 Jahren

Hi! A few weeks ago, I asked if anyone had first-hand experience with Baroque Flooring, specifically their engineered Bavarian XL or Luxembourg XL lines. No one replied, but I decided to take a chance and ordered the floor any way. Now that it's installed, I thought I would post a couple of photos for anyone else who's considering Baroque and would like to see how the finished product looks.

I chose their Bavarian XL line, and got a wide plank hickory hand-scraped floor in a finish called Turin. It has the natural variation of hickory, so it fits in well with the traditional feel of my Federal-style Pennsylvania home, but the finish isn't too high contrast. In the pictures it looks a bit darker than it appears in person, since it's actually a mid-tone brown. I can't speak to how well it wears since I just had it installed last week, but the company offers a good warranty and so far I'm really pleased with the floor.

@ Alyssa Fernandez, I am looking at installing Bavarian XL "Turin" in my 50s Ranch. I really like it, but am concerned it is a bit rustic and has a yellow tint. The salesperson said that it might be the lighting in the showroom so I should take a sample home. Do you still like your floors? I just saw the photos of your floors. They look great! Also, I want to put them in my kitchen. Did you put them in your kitchen?

I'm following up on this. i'm looking at Baroque flooring, YVP Natures Dwelling, color Redwood. The plank i took home looks good. However, this whole business is elusive.

Does anyone have comments and poctures. This site died.

I, too, am interested in Baroque Flooring...Palladium Plank-Acacia Golden Teak. What I need to find out is what country this particular one comes from. Their supply does not all come from the USA.

Etrd… did you end up going with the Baroque Acacia?

  • vor 2 Jahren

I really wanted a USA product, which is hard to find. Luckily, I selected Shaw flooring and am very pleased with it.

ETRD, what color did you use with Shaw?? The only floor I really like, anywhere, is the Baroque Turin, which is unavailable until at least June, if then, and I like the above pic of Sandstone, which is not available until end of March if then. It's so hard to find anything. I can't find any decent samples of Shaw flooring to even take home.
