She and the homeowner chose it because the pattern is reminiscent of woven African cloth. Rosene matched the wall paint color to the deep gray hue in the wallpaper. The gold portion is mylar.Mirror. Rosene and her client synced up design-wise. “I saw this mirror in a showroom one day and knew it was perfect for my client,” she says. “The very next day, before I’d even had a chance to tell her about it, she showed me a photo of the very same mirror, saying she had to have it.” The mirror’s shape and color work beautifully with the chandelier and the wallpaper pattern. Rug. This hand-knotted Tibetan rug was a splurge. The pattern brings in some lighter tones to the floor. Carved table. The homeowner already had this charming little African carved wood stool. As it turns out, she hadn’t traveled very far to find it — she bought it at a flea market in Canton, Texas.
