Hi! We ended up staining our floors a darker shade - not too dark but it's about a dark brown. Since Brazilian cherry is so red, there is still some red undertones to the brown and can especially be seen under the lighting, but overall we love our floors now - so much better than the bright red before!
We also did get new cabinets in white.
