It just depends on how you want the room to feel. :) They just need to coordinate with your slider drapes. You could even use woven shades in there, too. I meant to put in my other post that there are lots of other types of woven shades besides the usual bamboo kind … especially if you’re needing privacy. Just search ’textured Roman shades’ and other relevant terms.

Antwort auf: I love the blinds that Rita Konig used in an interior she designed for architect Gil Schaffer. They are bamboo but with a pattern to add a little extra interest. Antwort auf: I think for dining windows you could have the panels for each window stack to sides towards corners of room / outside edge of windows. This would leave the center space open to hang art on the wall.

Antwort auf: Have you measured for doing inside mount shades (in the dining room)? Brackets I’ve used for them in the past weren’t large. If you go that route, I’d use lined ones, as they can be see-thru at night when lights are on. Another idea is cafe curtains hung taller than the usual. I think you have room for inside mount … or even tension rods if the curtains are lightweight. Showing these as examples of being hung higher: Outside mount: With woven shade: For your living room, I’d do Roman shades for sure, for a cleaner look being in the corner and near the sliding glass door.
