lower shelf is at bottom edge of range hood. I could have THREE shelves. Bottom shelf could go all the way across under hood. I would have to keep things like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, etc. over range so grease/smojke wouldn't matter.

I love this kitchen. I wouldn't do the red though. Maybe aqua, but that isn't really "farmy" like red or white. White grout, tile up to ceiling and not exactly matching white cabinets (pretty but I don't like that they don't match tile.) white grouted white subways up to ceiling look better than darker/wider grout lines up to ceiling

I wouldn't get this color of architectonics from WaterWorks but I like the uneven color and they have a lot of lovely glossy smooth and glossy crackled colors such as Bahai

It is the standard tile from Lowes. It is a classic! I have used it in a few projects, and it always looks great. The color is not a stark white, which gives it some warmth without being too creamy.
