Side Deck

This is a great corner idea! Really like it. The ovals could be a square instead.

I don't think it would be difficult to put the footers off of our deck to make this idea work.

Wow! pretty close to what it would look like with the railing from the deck attached in between the posts! just what I had in mind. The railing is too busy. looking for a simple style railing.

Like the side step off. Ours would have to attach to the house due to the angle of side wall. The foot print of the outer footer would have to be off of the deck because we do not want to rebuild the whole deck and meet code now. The footer off the side should be able to meet code.

Nice! Like the screen on the front side to block view from the street the lattice matches the lattice on the other side of the house for balance. Also want to move the side deck entrance from the front to the side. Need to keep steps to a minimum on this entrance for accessibility.

This would be the look close over the sliding glass doors. I like fiberglass...beats painting wood.

Like the cloth underneath. Easy to remove in the winter but provides shade in the summer. Do not like the fancy stuff sticking out over the edge. Square posts -- good
