“My family and I pooled our money together to get me a new condominium in Reseda, CA. We got it for an incredibly good price, but it needed extensive remodeling work. I needed to remove the carpet and replace it with wooden tiles, re-paint the entire place, fix up the wiring, and the plumbing and I needed to redo the entire bathroom. It was no easy matter. What was even more problematic was that the current house I was living in is being foreclosed on and I had roughly 3 months to move out. My step mom knew about US Home Developers through a friend of hers who hired the company before, so she pressured me to look into them. I was sort of new to the whole experience but US Home Developers made it extremely easy. They were up front about the cost and time estimates, and were willing to work with me to provide the best solutions for the limited budget I had. Every day I would come to the condo after work and see what has progressed. I was constantly amazed at the speed by which everything was taken care of. The bathroom was the longest and hardest part because of all the necessary plumbing. They redid the tiles in the kitchen, and replaced all the carpets with the hardwood flooring that I wanted. They actually ended up finishing 2 weeks earlier than I had to move out and I was thrilled because it game a lot of time to move in and get settled. As someone who was entirely new to the experience of having a remodeling job done, I was really amazed at how easy, and great US Home Developers has made the experience.”

Started late June and now everythong is finally complete and signed off. After months of hard work and patience our home is finally back and beautuful! the addition has opened up so much for us and our is huge now! “ASSESSMENT OF MARJAN SVETKO Scope of Project: Replace existing kitchen cabinets and countertop. No change in the configuration of the layout of the kitchen or location of appliances. No significant changes to electrical or plumbing. Reason for Selection of Marjan: Marjan was one of two contractors that we interviewed and received proposals from. Both proposals were competitive and in a narrow range. Marjan distinguished himself with his design expertise, attention to detail and his flexibility. One of the major considerations in choosing Marjan was his timeframe from demolition to being back in our kitchen and having a ‘working kitchen’ which we defined as having our refrigerator back in the kitchen, a working sink and a working dishwasher. Marjan estimated that we would be out of our kitchen for less than a week. The other contractor told us that we would not have any access to our kitchen for one month. Marjan’s estimate of being out of our kitchen for less than a week held true. Working with Marjan: •Communication: Marjan was very good at communicating with us about the timeline and updates and changes. We signed our contract in mid Feb 2021. We were supposed to take delivery of the cabinets in early/mid-April, but ran into issues with the cabinet manufacturer which extended the delivery date to mid-May due to labor issues related to Covid-19. Marjan kept us informed of the delays and actually had us on calls directly with the cabinet manufacturer to understand the latest timing. Marjan always kept us informed about updates and status changes which is very important. •Attention to Detail: Marjan’s attention to detail was very helpful throughout the process. His experience in designing and remodeling many kitchens was very helpful in making suggestions to us about small changes that had a big impact. He sees things that most of us don’t see. •Trustworthiness: Marjan is a trusted partner. It can be awkward working with someone new on a project that has a very large cost, but Marjan performed and kept his word on all major elements of the project. •Interpersonal: Marjan was a pleasure to work with throughout the project. Kitchen remodels are very stressful on the family, especially when your kitchen is offline for a period of time. Marjan’s demeanor was always calm, professional and friendly. He spent a significant amount of time at our house and got to know our family. Recommendation: We would strongly recommend Marjan for all kitchen renovations. His attention to detail, project execution and professionalism were exceptional.”

Kitchen upgrades included new quartz countertops, a new stainless steel farmhouse sink, a microwave drawer, and a new dishwasher. The laundry room was completely remodeled with new cabinetry & countertops, flooring, and washer and dryer. Cabinets in the family room and kitchen were repainted, and the master bath shower floor was replaced. Overall, the quality of work was excellent, and work was completed on schedule. I would not hesitate to use Dave's Remodeling services for my future needs.”

“We love our new bathroom! It turned out exactly as we had hoped and planned, and we wouldn't change a thing. All thanks go to Blues Brothers Construction, and especially to Onn. We've done several remodels and this was the most fun and satisfying. Like the other remodels, there were problems and mistakes to be dealt with along the way. The difference with this company is how they handled the issues. In every case, they listened to our concerns without defensiveness and insisted on doing it correctly without shortcuts. Several times, I indicated I would be satisfied with a less expensive workaround, but Onn assigned someone immediately to do it right or even worked the issue himself. This often resulted in something better than we had originally envisioned. The employees and independent contractors were all very pleasant to work with. The tile installer was especially skilled at his craft and went above and beyond in making sure the tile went in perfectly. In a few cases, the installers were not very familiar with the products they were installing, but they were very receptive to our suggestions or pointing out where something was going off track, so everything turned out great in the end. Onn has set up very effective processes for his company. Communication was excellent and the employees and contractors were all aware of the schedule, daily tasks and routines, and the design plan. All the employees were very engaged and seemed to like and respect their employer. Onn's plans were very detailed and made it very easy to iterate on the design and track the construction progress. The professionalism of their process was similar to much larger, more expensive firms but, instead of resulting in increased costs like the others, we think it improved their efficiency and held down costs. As they stated, They are not the cheapest or most expensive contractor, and we found that to be true. The quote was very fair but what set them apart is that the estimate didn't change at all through the design process except for some very small additions that we clearly added. And the same price and schedule held through the entire project, again except for a few small changes we requested. Onn suggested several design tweaks that all improved the final product but all were no cost items and or very minor charges where they clearly needed to order more expensive materials. This was a vastly different experience from other contractors who promised a range of cost but grossly inflated the price after detailing the design even though nothing changed. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blues Brothers Construction for any home remodel and will gladly go to them again for our future needs.”

“The project that was designed and complete by Romano Builders contained a full kitchen renovation that started with the demolishing of the old kitchen, moving a wall that expanded the living room and the kitchen by additional of 10 feet and designing a new layout of the new kitchen and then to build the new kitchen with all new kitchen upper and lower cabinets, an island with sink, adding all new appliances, removing the wall that connected the kitchen with the living room and build a half wall that served as a bar and serving dishes spot when we have guests or family over, and last thing was to build an a wet bar that was kind of extension to the back of the house. At the end of the work and after we spent so much time with David and his people and workers, we can write that we had a great experience with them. They absolutely delivered all what they said and promised, when they said they will and for the price they gave us. The working teams of Romano Builders were friendly and professional during the whole work at the house. We were very fascinated by their productivity and the hours they worked in order to finish the project quickly as they could and without any mistakes. As this was our first major renovation, we felt sometimes some worried about the communication with the workers, but after a short time, things generally went smoothly. We are pleased with the final project and would certainly work with Romano Builders again.”
