She asked a lot of questions about usage, and what I wanted to be able to do with the space. I thought I knew what I wanted it to look like; however, Denise proposed some changes in floor plan and traffic pattern that I hadn't considered. I'm so glad I went with her ideas and am thrilled with the result. In addition, she was mindful of my tastes and budget. Many designers know what looks good, but don't take into account the clients needs and taste. Denise designed the kitchen, and did most of the shopping for accessories, granite, etc; however, it is my kitchen, and perfect for me.”

“We own a 1970s ranch that has good "bones", but other than our renovations, has only had minor cosmetic upgrades by a previous owner. Highland Design Gallery took the measure of our space, a cramped Master Bath/Closet suite, and worked up 3 different renovation designs with 3 different price points. Once we made our choice, specified our hardware, chose cabinetry (they have several beautiful lines to choose from) and our fixtures, we set a budget. We sourced our Kohler toilet because we found a complete "set" elsewhere that saved money, and they had no problem with that. The bathroom was gutted, reconfigured and then built out as a new space. Of course there were a few adjustments that had to be made--all jobs have these--but their response was professional, and the issues were resolved. The small crew were pleasant to have in my home, the quality of work was excellent. I would recommend Robin and Todd Swarts and Highland Design Gallery.”
