I love the green velvet sofa, chinoiserie, pop of cherry red, flowers, dark wall covering. This captures the overall look and feel, minus the pillows, and with dark furniture not white.

I have this chair in my office. It is so sturdy, solid and comfortable. I have it in a rich coral leather and would love to have one upstairs in the library in the right color. It will work on a rug if the rung has a protective mat.

This chandelier is in the guest bedroom. The sconces in the library above the two window seats match it, so I would move it to the library and find a different one for the guest bedroom.

This is a good desk, I like the lines, the simplicity without being rustic. It needs to be a large surface. It is only slightly too Federalist/antique looking. Drawers are okay as long as they are like this, not deep. Dark wood is nice.

I like this sofa for the comfortable look. I do like the color, but I think I would prefer to go to a dark foresty green that has some blue in it, rather than to the bluer side of the spectrum as shown on this sofa. Love the velvet.

The glass board on the wall is similar to what I'm looking for behind the desk, between two stacks of book cases. I would have it vertical, instead of horizontal. Paint the back to get a pale green color to come through the glass. Large, like 6 ft. by 5 ft.

this is a good example of a chinoiserie print--not too much emphasis on birds and branches, but also not just small flowers alone. The color is not right, needs to be green.

This might be going overboard, but the idea of velvet curtains makes it seem very library-like. The room does not need a lot of privacy--there are no views except one from a distance at the nieghbor's, and it is not a bedroom. But the ability to have privacy is nice, and I am tired of pull down shades above the window seats. All said, I don't want it to make it so dark and heavy that it becomes a somber chamber.
