Antwort auf: Cutting board: I have one of these for the biggest cutting board; the rest go in a vertical cabinet with dividers: Towels: I have something like this in ORB (to match hardware). Worked great until we got a puppy who likes to grab them. Now they are on the side of the sink. Hopefully well use the rack again after some more obedience training. :) Paper towels: on the counter with something like this. LOVE firsthouseÂs niche in the island. Plastic bags: I hardly have them anymore now that IÂm using reusable shopping bags. And the ones I have donÂt last long (did I mention we have a puppy?)

Antwort auf: One of my favorite things about my kitchen. This is a island with a large sink in center. The dishwasher is to the right of the paper towel and trash pullout.

Antwort auf: I got this because my husband cannot be retrained to use a towel in stead of paper towels. This is adorable enough not to bother me on the counter. The built in would never work for us because he would drip water either on the floor or the cabinet door.

Antwort auf: Thanks for the kind words, summery and gr8daygw! I will pass them along to my carpenter since it is his invention. :) Here are a few more pictures. It has a lever that slides and the dowel comes down. Then you just put in a roll and bring the dowel back up. As you can see, I can fit additional rolls in the cabinet underneath. It holds 3 extra at a time. Hope that helps! :)
