I like this wainscoting idea of the beadboard being framed. That could actually be done as all one panel, and make it much easier to apply to the wall, IMO.

I want to do beadboard in our bath to take it back to its early 20th century "roots." I really like the way this way it done. It looks both streamlines, and comfy. In our bath still have to have some storage concerns, but I love this whole effect.
