Bathrooms
crisp white room with thin black (stone?) bench top looks shmick
side of bath bead boarding
using wall cavity space for storage then sticking mirror doors over
artwork in wet areas
this but not as much
love the herringbone but it's bit fussy, so could only use it in a very simple material palette, if we were struggling for pizazz
monochrome patterned floor, white subway tile with light grey grout, panelling styled hung vanity, don't need timber for life if you use character features and plants... could save money on a simpler white vanity
shiplap above half height subway tiles and geometric floor tiles
inset shelf and face height storage
fun colour for the bathroom
wood look tiles that don't pretend to not be tiles, dado panelling, colour on the walls
use the exposed brick if it's lovely enough, add panelling for character and keep everything classic to make the brick the hero to rescue the room from being too traditional
vj panelling in the bathroom is classy and cheaper than tiles. might be an issue with a built in tub however
wet room japan style with floor drain, shower and bath adjacent
for a shower over tub, prefer doubled shower curtain with waterproof inner inside tub and decorative cloth outer. easier to clean everything compared to a fixed screen and easier to chase kiddos without obstruction
huge shower enclosure. the stone is lovely but would be a nightmare to clean
layout and floating vanity
bench seat with storage
striking floor tile and inset mirror that could be set up with shaving cabinet recess
shower niche details
good strong bench for later life but also shaving or sitting with a sore back earlier. niche is out of the immediate flow so soaps won't disolve but seems a bit shallow
high long clerestoryish windows for wonderful natural light without concern about privacy
expensive and beautiful bookmatched marble panels
dressing table in the bathroom with great lights
floating vanity with i guess those are drawers? and nice double sinks. would prefer benchtop sinks for better height and more storage below
ooooh aaaaah internally lit calcite floating vanity. maybe if we win the lottery....
floating vanity with double sinks
floating vanity for a feeling of space in the bathroom as well as being able to shove kid steps and scales underneath
enormous family bath with a whole lot of storage. what's not to love
good simple layout for family bath with double vanity and lots of space to manouvre at bed time, really like the timber bulkhead idea but seems awkwardly executed and love the teal feature tiles to jazz up the space
level entry to wide shower with bench.
too much on the floor but as a feature in the shower would be great
love a pretty feature wall in a bathroom
Ensuite design - main room has only vanity, storage, shower. Water closet aside. Would be better if the medicine cabinets were set into niches into the wall with flush mounted mirrors, rather than this side by side (ugly) medicine cabinet look.
Love the idea of using crazy patterns in greyscale to bring interest to a simple inexpensive bathroom design
James wants an outhouse bathhouse
foldaway shower - ergonomically solid idea for later life issues of access with shower chairs
Clerestory windows in otherwise windowless bathroom - privacy while flooded with light.
Natural textures neutral tones
orgeous art deco wall of tiles
Ziggurat Tile Pattern
luxury of space
glorious sunken bath
wall panelling for good humidity management, painted fun colours for the kid's bathroom, could be repainted to suit changing tastes and/or renting
