HI. Jim. Below are some fireplace options for you to consider. All fairly simple. You can decide if you want to tile, stone or sheet rock above the mantel...as you are working on an angle and have many options. These images should help. You will also see images of various tray ceilings. It is amazing how a bit of sheet rock and or/moldings can hide anything..in your case a support beam. Enjoy. Jill
