I like the look of the cabinets and hardware and don't mind the darker counter, but not sure about maintenance...

I like the design of the island. I also like the appliance garage things that slide open for toaster, coffee maker etc.!

Desk/kitchen combo is nice. Cabinets pretty nice too (not the walnut, but the white with black hardware). Also, like the large format subway tile as backsplash.
