Kitchen

We would like to have a "farmhouse" feel here with modern things hidden but still present. A small island. Cabinets and drawers centered around food preparation (dishes, pots, pans, spices, condiments, staples) rather than food storage which will (mostly) be in the pantry. Larger kitchen appliances will also be in the pantry and brought forward for use rather than stored in kitchen cabinets or, worse, on the countertop. We are looking for a lighter color painted cabinet and drawer fronts, maybe a distressed paint style. Brick backsplash is a possibility. Farmhouse style sink is a must. Restaurant style sprayer kitchen faucet unless it ruins the window view. Would like as many windows as possible on sink wall and also folding accordion style window on porch wall with outside countertop matching inside countertop. If we have the space, would like a restaurant style booth and table for informal meals and homework on the wall shared with living room.
