Idea for pantry wall, high shelf on top with several hooks for hanging broom, aprons, not sure what else. Shallow shelf with several levels (shelves) for spice rack.

Facing wall will be shallow shelves, maybe with guard rail (or at least a lip at bottom) to keep jars & cans secure. Right side wall will have base cabinets, probably with slide-out shelves or wire baskets for like items, and countertop + some space before upper sheles... much like this photo.

What about a countertop in the pantry? And my wine cooler. I like the shallow upper shelves for food & cooking supplies; lower cabinets for appliance storage. Countertop for toaster oven. Space between cabinet & upper shelves might not need to be 18"? Make lower shelves pull-out drawers so I can get to stuff in back more easily.
