Waypoint is entry level. They have poorer quality finishes than a mid grade line as they do not do enough sanding. Look at a door where the cross grain is exposed and it will be rough. As will most of their doors. They use a tinted toner in their wood that allows them to use cheaper grades and tone them to have less contrast. They don't offer a natural cherry at all because they don't buy good enough cherry to offer it naked with no stain.
Diamond has good solid mid grade quality products, with good to not quite great finish work. They do offer a natural cherry, and it is lovely, but not high end all heartwood. You'd have to go up quite a few price notches for that. I've done hundreds of projects with Diamond and had very few problems. They offer quite a few customizations and organizational aids to make your kitchen work it's hardest.
