Rustic Elegance

I especially like the grain pattern of the wooden door surrounded by windows and the wooden bench. I like the fixtures, but they are too dim/the space needs more light. I don't like the opening in the wall in the entryway.

I like the antique furniture particularly the book case. I like the way the wooden beam on the far wall gives the place a more closed nook-like feeling. I like that there are some decorations but not so many that it feels nick nacky and cluttered. The warm, vintage, elegant/rustic, nook feeling is similar to what I would want my own library to be like. The iron is pretty. Although the black metal feels a little bit cold and stand-offish to me. David likes the industrial look. It could be a way to combine my preference for elegance with his love of industrial. Thought: the intricate railing pattern could be very annoying to dust!

I like the tall ceilings, natural light, the color balance in the room not too dark or too bright

I like the size of the space - feels spacious without being too big, the large windows, the big doorway, the tall ceilings, the yellow light. I don't like the chandelier.

I like the warm lights and that the room is neither too light nor too dark. I like the open space.
