Cabinetry

Notice the juxtaposition of materials on cabinets and island (cabinets are wood with white counter-tops; island is white with wood counter-tops that match the cabinets). I would do matching woods, as shown (with, perhaps, a different finish), and would do any non-opening sides of the island with the same marble/granite/quartz, etc., as the counter-tops, and the backsplashes would be of the same material.
