Interesting ... very dark door; then the light maple/alder stained treads, newels & floor. Not sure if I am a fan...

White risers & stained stair treads are nice look with exposed treads. Maja would love ... but do I want the vacuuming issue. Not sure if I prefer this, or all stained riser & tread. Regardless, I like the stained newel post & hand rail.

Hmmm ... This is a nice look. Too bright for everyday home? Would be great at the Cottage if we add a fireplace.
