“Nick was excellent to work with and followed through on delivering a dream kitchen that dramatically changed the space. The project was executed well and we had a good understanding of what to expect throughout the process. Nick was always good about following up on any questions or concerns we had through the process. Ultimately, the finished product was beautiful and it reclaimed a lot of utility in under utilized spaces on our main floor.”

“Bluestem completed a whole basement transformation (remodel) for me. After consulting other architects and contractors, they provided me with amazing design options within my budget. The results are fantastic and have changed the way I feel about my space. The Bluestem team and their partners were fantastic to work with. I worked from home (with two cats) and the team took care to make sure I had very minimal interruptions and mess. Each and every member of the Bluestem team has been fantastic! - All the carpenters were fantastic at their craft and enjoyable to have in my home each day. In fact, it felt like having handy friends coming in each day. - Stefanie, the designer was a joy to work with. She came in midway into the project and took little crumbs of thoughts I shared and turned them into a cohesive theme. Stefanie didn't miss a beat in turning the few unexpected impediments into opportunities - making the changes seem intentional. There were some staffing transitions during the project that caused some misalignment in our expectations and assumptions, but the team quickly worked to ensure that my needs were met. In fact, I always felt they were doing everything they could to make sure I was delighted. I would absolutely recommend Bluestem to others looking to do a small or large project.”

“I just had a very nice consultation with Curtis Irmiger of Full Circle Construction. I'm pulling together estimates for a home we may purchase--so I don't know whether we'll be able to hire him, but would strongly consider doing so. He's a practical guy with an unhurried manner, who has plenty of experience and a real feel for what's being asked. He was able to answer my questions very clearly, from direct experience rather than speaking off the cuff. I'm confident that he'd provide honest, high-quality craftsmanship. Moreover, he seems like someone who could neatly avoid the budget and communication problems that can turn a project into a roller-coaster. Liked him immediately!”
