“I got Teresa's name off of Houzz. I was confident that she could help me because well, I'm not a designer and I saw what I liked on her reviews and pictures of spaces she had created. Wow, I underestimated just how much Teresa could work her magic on a few rooms in my home. Teresa gave me an overall plan for my home, understanding that it would be a process because we weren't going to do everything at once. I took a lot of notes as she listened to me, got to know me, and slowly walked through my home pointing out how we could improve my rooms & spaces and what would give it the feel I was looking for. I'm so excited and grateful for Teresa's plan. So many places are offering “free design consulting” but they don’t do what Teresa at Norwood Interior Designs can do. The goal for free consulting is to sell their furniture, their brand...I get it, it’s good business! But Teresa not only creates spaces people love to be in, regardless of the brand, she centers her focus on her customers, their needs, what they love, what look and feel they're wishing for in a forever-home and she will work with your budget. That’s the best value for me, really. There isn't a 'completion' date yet because our home is slowly morphing into our dream home as we create and add touches, sell items, buy some new furnishing, and put them together and follow the plan she gave us. “Cassy's professionalism and expertise were invaluable in guiding me through the process of completely renovating the condo I recently bought when I downsized: from flooring to wall colors to lighting options to cabinets, granite counter tops, & subway tile back splash, to a queen sleeper and area rug for the sunroom. She was wonderful to collaborate with, offering suggestions, giving timely feedback. Cassy came to both the home I sold and to the new place several times, helped me unpack and settle in, brought wall color options, lighting catalogs, and made deliveries. She also coordinated efforts with the local company that renovated my kitchen and two bathrooms. I also went to her office a few times to see fabric and style options for the ottoman/cocktail table, area rug and sofa sleeper. I liked how easy she made it for me. Within the period of three months (due to major holidays) my condo was transformed into a lovely, comfortable home that I am proud of, and that friends and family enthusiastically compliment.
